Fullerton, CALIFORNIA – According to reporting from the OCRegister, a driver died after crashing into a pole on Monday evening, November 12. The fatal collision occurred at the corner of Gilbert Street and Open Sky Drive in Fullerton.
Firefighters arrived around 10pm and discovered a severely damaged Lexus Sedan that had crashed into a city light pole. The unidentified male driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Fullerton Sgt. Carin Wright stated that the Lexus had been traveling Northbound on Gilbert street before the collision occurred.
At this time, Fullerton police are looking into the possibility of another vehicle that may have been involved in the crash. Debris belonging to a different car was found at the location of the accident.
The investigation is ongoing.
